The Evolution of Our Farm: A Rich History of Crops

In its early years, our family farm raised mainly vegetables, hops, and dairy cows. As the hops and dairy were no longer viable crops, production was switched to seed crops.

In the 1950s, 60's and early 70's, production was switched to clover, sheep, and string beans. Since 1970, as the farm could afford the initial planting costs, blueberries have been planted a few acres every couple of years. Now the farm is cultivating 75 acres of certified organic blueberries and 240 acres of Christmas Trees all of which are marketed by the Wilt family.
